SNOWDON
Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) is the highest mountain in Wales and England. It's one of our most famous and regonizable landmarks and is well worth a visit. Standing tall over the village of Llanberis, Snowdon is a part of a close-knit family of jagged peaks and can offer views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and Ireland. Choose from six different paths to conquer this 1,085 metre (3,560 feet) giant which are the Llanberis path, Pyg Track, Miners’ Track, Watkin Path, Rhyd-Ddu Path or the Snowdon Ranger Path.

It is one of the regions most visited tourist sports for walkers, climbers, bikers ,shoppers and sightsee-ers. Nestled in a honey pot location in the centre of the National park there are museums, shops, walks, a station, pubs, restaurants, a must visit site named the Fairy Glenn and the Ugly house tea rooms to name just a few of the attractions.
Just wandering around the town or heading farther into the hills and footpaths you can get a real sense of the magic of the place. If you are there at Christmas time it is truly wonderful.
LLANGOLLEN
Renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee, Llangollen has something for every visitor.
If you just want to relax, let the train take the strain and ride on the steam railway or experience peace and tranquility, gliding along the canal on a horse-drawn boat. Llangollen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
