Booking Terms and Conditions

All bookings are confirmed in writing via Email. 

​

Full payment including damage deposit and £75 cleaning and linen fee, as well as any special requests for the stay must be received before the booking can be confirmed. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

 

No provisional bookings will be held. 

 

A deposit of £50 is added to your booking to cover any breakages. This deposit will be returned to you within 10 days of checkout if there is no damage. If damage or extra cleaning costs go above the deposit value you will be notified and asked to pay any outstanding costs.

 

Please check the details on the confirmation prior to arrival.

 

 

House Rules

 

Please leave the Lodge clean and tidy as you would wish to find it. Any extra cleaning over and above what your cleaning fee covers will be taken out of your damage deposit.

 

Please let us know the age of your children so we can accommodate them.

up to 2 dogs are welcome but they are NOT allowed in bedrooms or on beds.

Please do not park on the lawn.

 

Please keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.

 

Smoking or e-cigarettes are not allowed inside The Lodge. Please use the sand pot outside as your ash tray.

 

Please take muddy shoes off before entering where possible.

 

No camp fires or candles anywhere on the property.

 

Please separate recycling and put in the bins outside.

 

Only burn logs provided by us in the burner. 1 x basket for free per week with stay, can purchase more for £5/Basket.

 

Main house, garden, pond and woods are not accessible to Lodge guests, as well as the rear of the Lodge.

 

Cancellation Policy:

 

A full refund of the total amount paid including cleaning fee (minus a 3% Stripe card payment admin fee) will only be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, as long as the check-in date is at least 14 days away.

​

Guests will receive a 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before they are due to check-in.

​

No refunds for cancellations will be made if check in is less than 7 days away. 

​

Changing your booking dates are treated as a cancellation and a re-booking as above.

​

For guests unable to travel due to coronavirus restrictions we offer the free transferal of your booking up to a year in the future.
