SY20 9RP seems to be the best Postcode though and should bring you just a few houses up from us, or use Garneddwen as your town destination as this street of terraced cottages is just 100 yards up the hill from us.

By Road:

If you are travelling from the East (London/Birmingham) we would highly recommend that you do not use the route given by Google maps as it will take you along some smaller mountain roads which are difficult to drive.

Instead you should HEAD TO MACHYNLLETH and then drive through the village of Corris then follow signs to Aberllefenni.

Directions from Machynlleth:

Approaching the Machynlleth town centre from the East on the A489 or the South on the A487, follow the A487 signposted towards Dolgellau/Aberdovey.

Under the Railway bridge, then Over the river Dyfi. Immediately after you cross the river, follow the A487 to the right towards Dolgellau.

You will pass through Pantperthog, see the Centre for Alternative Technology signposted to your right and then pass the village of Ceinws also on the right.

Approximately 3 miles on from the Centre for Alternative Technology you will see signposts for Corris and Aberllefenni, Turn right onto Bridge Street opposite "Braich Goch Bunkhouse and Inn".  Follow the road straight down through Corris towards Aberllefenni. You will reach Corris village centre and go past a cafe and a white fronted pub on your left (Slaters Arms). Bridge Street will turn into Maes-Yr-Orsaf, just keep heading straight. Continue for 1 mile and you will see a red postbox on your left, go past it 50 yeards and Fronwen will be on your left opposite a layby. Turn into our driveway and bear right, park in the designated parking area just through the first gate. If you reach a white sign for Aberllefenni on your right you have gone too far so turn around and come back to us.
